Salary: Pay Scale: 6, point 18-22 (£22,661 to £24,213). Hours: 30 hours per week (8:00am to 2:00pm).

Contract: Permanent part time contract, working term time only plus 5 days.

Cross Lane Primary School is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated Catering Manager  to join our ambitious team.

In this integral role, you will support School Leaders by managing, improving and developing our existing Catering Service, enhancing our school meal provision for pupils and staff.

We are looking to welcome someone who will:

  • bring experience, innovation and creativity to develop the existing catering service;
  • be an inspirational leader to  our experienced and dedicated catering team, utilising considerate resourcefulness and knowledge of catering environments, to drive continual improvement for our catering offer;
  • work cohesively with ambitious school leaders to implement continued business development and improvement;
  • will embrace a new and exciting challenge; eager to initiate whole school projects and who is keen to contribute significantly to the future success of our school:

The main objectives of the role:

To provide a high quality catering service which supports the wellbeing of pupils and staff, whilst meeting school catering and health and safety standards. To co-manage the development of schools Catering Services initiative, using experience and creativity to support this exciting opportunity. To promote healthy, affordable and sustainable meal options throughout school and the wider community.
