Cross Lane's Curriculum
Long term plans are on a two-year cycle for Key Stage One and Lower Key Stage Two: Year A (2025 - 2026) and Year B (2024 - 2025). Nursery and Reception have separate curriculums.
Detailed, long-term plans can be found below. Our curriculum follows the 2014 National Curriculum and provides broad and balanced learning experiences, whilst fulfiling the duties of the Equality Act 2010 and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Regulations 2014. To learn how we implement and monitor this curriculum, please view the full curriculum statement here. This should be read in conjunction with the Curriculum: Teaching and Learning and Assessment Policy
The curriculum overviews below were initially the result of 3 years of revisions and updates through a rigorous process of review in discussion and collaboration with all stakeholders.
