Welcome to Cross Lane Primary School
It's official!
Following our recent Ofsted inspection (April 2023), we are ecstatic to announce that we have been graded GOOD in ALL areas – a first in our school’s history and the best report the school has ever received!
We are incredibly proud of this report as it is truly testament to the hard work, commitment and continued drive of everyone and anyone who has ever believed in the school’s journey and vision from 2019.
Members of our incredible school community, both past and present, have all played an instrumental part in this accomplishment; just like jigsaw pieces, every piece is valued.
It is also fitting that on the week that the final report is published, we celebrate our school reaching full capacity of pupils on roll (another first for the school!) and we enter Pride Month – and that is exactly how we are all feeling - PROUD.

Our inspection experience was both positive and professionally satisfying: they agreed with our judgements of the school at this stage and we agreed with theirs.

We pride ourselves on providing a challenging, inspiring and creative curriculum: a rich education that gives our children the knowledge, skills and learning behaviours they need to succeed now; in the next phase of their learning and for future success.
